YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
Youths in Zimbabwe face a myriad of challenges including unemployment, access to quality education, child marriage and sexual abuse, amongst others. Today we take a look back at the youth clubs supported by Child Protection Society in partnership with FACT, Howard, Jointed Hands Welfare Organization, Youth Advocate Zimbabwe AND Oasis Zimbabwe Regai dzive Shiri through the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP). The clubs equipped in and out of school youths with knowledge and life skills to live independent lives as productive citizens benefiting from vocational training and apprenticeship programs in 6 districts.
